  • Swartberg Pass — Klein Karoo

  • Tsitsikamma cliffs — two nights at Storms River

Day By Day

eleven days, FIVE distinct chapters.

01 Days 1–2 · Noordhoek → Cape of Good Hope → Noordhoek Cape Town & The Peninsula

We meet in Noordhoek, hand you the keys to your bike, and ease into a sunset run up Chapman's Peak — the most cinematic coastal road on Earth, hugged tight against the Atlantic. The next morning loops the whole peninsula: Boulders Beach penguins at Simon's Town, out to the Cape of Good Hope at the south-western tip, then Camps Bay and the Atlantic Seaboard before climbing back over Chapman's to Noordhoek.

Noordhoek · nights 1–2
Day 1 sunset ride · Day 2 ~175 km peninsula loop
Chapman's Peak coastline
02 Days 3–5 · Montagu → Swartberg Pass → Prince Albert Over The Passes To The Karoo

The road turns inland and upward. Bainskloof and Franschhoek passes carry you through the Cape Fold mountains to Montagu, then the legendary R62 — Barrydale, Calitzdorp, Red Stone Hills — delivers you over the Swartberg Pass into Prince Albert. Two nights here mean you unpack once: a day of Karoo outrides, with drinks and snacks at the top of the Swartberg Pass.

Montagu · night 3
Prince Albert · nights 4–5
Up to ~388 km on the Montagu transfer · lighter Karoo outrides
Swartberg Pass
03 Days 6–7 · Swartberg → Kareedouw Pass → Storms River Klein Karoo To Tsitsikamma

Drop off the Swartberg through Oudtshoorn, De Rust and Uniondale, then the R62 and Kareedouw Pass bring you down to Storms River on the edge of the Tsitsikamma. A second day here is yours to explore — outrides through indigenous forest and along the cliff-edge coast, with no panniers to repack.

Storms River · nights 6–7
~150 km in · optional outrides up to ~244 km
Tsitsikamma forest and coast
04 Days 8–9 · Knysna → George → Oudtshoorn Safari On The Garden Route

The N2 runs west through Knysna — pause at the Bike Museum — before the 7 Weeks Pass, George and Oudtshoorn deliver you to your game lodge on the edge of the Karoo. Trade two wheels for four legs: an elephant experience, a sunrise game drive and a sunset drive, with an optional afternoon outride for the restless.

Game lodge near Oudtshoorn · nights 8–9
~271 km transfer · then game drives & an optional outride

05 Days 10–11 · Robinson Pass → Cape Agulhas → Constantia The Long Way Home

Leave early over the Robinson Pass, through Mossel Bay and Swellendam to Arniston on the Cape's wild south coast. The final day saves the best landmark for last: Cape Agulhas, the true southern tip of Africa, then Hermanus, the cliff-hugging Clarence Drive and Gordon's Bay before you hand the bikes back in Constantia.

Arniston · night 10 · finish in Constantia
~360 km then ~318 km · two full riding days

Reserve Your Spot

Tell us about you. We'll do the rest.

A short inquiry — no payment, no obligation. Our tour director will personally reach out within 24 hours.

Frequently Asked

Smart questions, honest answers.

How much riding experience do I need?

Intermediate to advanced. You should be confident on a 200kg+ bike at highway speeds, comfortable in twisties, and have a few thousand kilometres logged in the last 24 months. We'll have a friendly call to make sure it's the right fit.

What license / paperwork do I need?

A full motorcycle license valid in your home country, and an International Driving Permit (IDP). We send a pre-arrival pack with all the details once your spot is confirmed.

What should I pack?

Just personal items. We provide the bike, helmet, jacket, gloves and base layers if you want them. A detailed packing list (and luggage allowance for the support vehicle) is sent on confirmation.

How small is the group?

Eight riders maximum, always. Two guides, one mechanic/support driver. The small-group ratio is the entire point — it lets us pick the right pace for the right road every day.

Deposit & payment?

A deposit confirms your spot, with the balance due 60 days before departure. We accept wire transfer or credit card, and full payment terms are laid out on your booking confirmation.

Can I bring a partner who doesn't ride?

Yes — a non-riding partner can travel in the support vehicle, share your room, and join all meals & lodging. Add-on pricing is provided on inquiry.
